Islamabad High Court decides to review new social media laws

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has appointed experts and concerned parties as assistants and demanded reports within a month.
The Islamabad High Court decided to review the new social media laws. According to details, petitions filed against social media rules were heard in the Islamabad High Court . During the hearing, the court decided to review the new rules, appoint experts and assistants to the parties concerned and call for reports within a month. The Islamabad High Court will review social media rules under international standards. Assistants have been asked to comment on whether social media rules are in line with international practice.
